Robert A. Jones

Robert A. (Cadillac) Jones, Jr. 71, entered into rest on Saturday June 17, 2017 at Augusta University Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 11AM Friday June 23, 2017 at Poteet Funeral Home, 3465 Peach Orchard Road, Augusta. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park with full military honors accorded by the Ceremonial Detachment of Fort Gordon.Mr. Jones enjoyed basketball. He was retired from the U.S. Army, then later he was employed with Thermal Ceramics.Survivors include his wife Conny J. Jones; Sons Robert A. Jones, III, Joshua A. Pearson and Dimitri L. Allmond; daughters Bianca Jones, LaToya (Eric Pepper) Jones, Rebecca (Brian) Crosson, Nekya J. Allmond , Michelle D. (Elliott Ortiz) Allmond; brother Tootie (Jean)Jones; sisters Delma Jones and Janet Mullen ; thirteen grandchildren . The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 pm on Thursday evening at the funeral home.
