Mr. Robert Lee Jennings, 86 entered into rest 07/03/2017. He was preceded by his son, Hubert Crawford Jennings. Mr. Jennings was a native of Hephzibah, GA having made Martinez, GA his home for the past 20 years. He served in the US Air Force and retired as a school teacher from Aiken County. Prior to teaching in Aiken County, Mr. Jennings spent years in the construction business and took part in building many homes and businesses in the CSRA. Mr. Jennings attended Abilene Baptist Church until recent years due to health issues. Survivors include his wife of 40 years Peggy Jennings, daughters Helena Daniels (Mike), Cynthia Matheny (William), Cathy Gregory (Robin); sons; Robert Jennings (Patsy) Arrington, TN, Michael Jennings (Melanie), Augusta GA, Buck McDaniel (Catherine); 16 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren and one sister; Louisa Nix, Galveston, TX. Graveside service will be held at Vance Memorial Park in Hephzibah, GA on Wednesday 07/05/2017 at 11:00 AM, Military Honors rendered.
