Robert L. Honeycutt

Augusta, GA. Retired SFC U. S. Army Robert L. Honeycutt, age 78, of Augusta, passed away on Friday, July 4, 2014 at Trinity Hospital. He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny L. and Gladys Jolley Honeycutt. Mr. Honeycutt retired from the U. S. Army after 20 years of services.He continued to work for the military in a civilian role as an instructor. Mr. Honeycutt is survived by his wife of 60 years, Jane A. Honeycutt; his son, Robert J. ( Evelyn) Honeycutt of Anchorage, Alaska; and his daughter, Sherry (Bruce)Justiceof Augusta; 3 grandsons, Robert Christopher Honeycutt, Joshua Justice and Aaron Justice. Visitation will be Tuesday (TODAY) 6 pm to 8 pm at THE POTEET FUNERAL HOME, 3465 Peach Orchard Rd., Augusta, 30906, 706.798.8886. Funeral Services will be Wednesday at 10 am at the funeral home.Burial to follow in Westover Cemetery with Military Honors.
