Robert Eugene Armstrong

Robert Eugene Armstrong Evans, GA. Robert Eugene Armstrong, born January 31, 1939, died peacefully in his home in Evans, GA on June 11, 2016, with his beloved wife by his side. He leaves behind his wife of 57 years, Johannah Armstrong; their five amazing daughters, Christina Wall (71, GA), Robinette Armstrong (54, PA), Jenny Armstrong Powell (51, PA), Roxanne Armstrong (37, NC), Maggie Mae Armstrong (33, NC); his brother, Richard Armstrong (78, MO); and six grandchildren. As he was a Navy vet, this prompted his wanderlust, enabling him to live in many foreign places with his family. Beginning in Kansas City, these included California, Louisiana, New Jersey, Cape Town South Africa, Ohio, Johannesburg South Africa, Pennsylvania, New York, Nevada, Puerto Rico, NC and finally Georgia, where he will rest in peace. Although he presented himself as Superman, his heart was in the end, his kryptonite. He was a good, fine man who will be remembered with love and adoration and missed by all.
