Richard Spallone

Richard Spallone, 61, born and raised in Hazleton and residing in Augusta, GA, has passed away on December 24, 2023 at Doctor’s Hospital of Augusta. Richard was a graduate of Bishop Hafey High School and Lackawanna County College. He spent years working management at electronics Boutique, Rite Aid, and Walmart, before retiring from this in 2022. He spent his retirement driving for Uber, Lyft, and providing long distance transportation, which allowed him to drive and travel, which he loved to do. When he wasn’t working, he enjoyed traveling with Nancy, his wife of 35 years. He enjoyed baseball games, bowling, and friendly mini-golf competitions amongst family, which he rarely lost. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Elizabeth Spallone, and brother-in-law Anthony Minor. He will be remembered in the memories of all he has left behind, including his wife, Nancy Spallone (Augusta, GA), daughter Samantha Woodruff (Berwick) and her husband, Charles Woodruff, sister Carol Minor (Hazleton) and her children Carla Minor (Hazleton) and Brian Minor (Hazleton), and brother, Joseph Spallone, Jr. (Madison, AL).
