Richard Paul Hammond

Richard Paul Hammond was welcomed home by His Savior Jesus Christ at12:05Sundaymorning July 29th. Those waiting to join him are his wife of 54 years Stathia Hammond, his daughter Michelle Bauer, his son Eric Hammond, and his four grandsons August, Luke, Samuel, and Noah. Richard accepted Jesus as his Savior on April 29th, 1955 and served Him in full time ministry until the day of his death. His goal in life was to tell the world that Jesus came to this earth as our example, died for us as our Savior, rose from the dead as our Deliverer and wants to live inside of us as our Life and Hope for eternity. "To live is Christ and to die is Gain." Ricks last words to his family and friends were "I'll see you in heaven." A memorial service will be held onFriday August 3rd at Noon at Christ Church Presbyterian in EvansGA. (4201 Southern Pines Dr. Evans GA. 30809) with a visitation proceeding at11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers Rick wanted donations made to Christ Church Presbyterian with check memo stating playground fund.
