Retha Adams Sears Retha Adams Sears, 72, of N. Augusta, SC died Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at University Hospital. Born in Toccoa, GA to the late Thomas Cliff Adams and Sara Head Adams, she was the widow of the late George L. Sears. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband George Sears, grandson James Wong and brothers Jack, Billy and Bobby Adams. Surviving are her daughters, Wanda (Ammon) Wong of Las Cruces, NM, Linda Bryant (Angela Ledford) of N. Augusta, SC and Nancy Parker of Toccoa, GA; son Waylon Sears of Las Cruces, NM.; six grandchildren; Joshua (Amanda) Wong, Brittanyand Damion Sears of Las Cruces, NM., Sara and Jeremy Parker of Toccoa, GA, and Makayla Ledford of N. Augusta, SC, as well as granddaughter-in-law Megan Wong of Livermore, CA; 8 great grandchildren. Sisters Cathy Holcomb of Toccoa, Martha Fowler of Carnesville, brothers Harold, Fred, Richard and Gene Adams of Toccoa, GA and Tommy Adams of Fairplay, SC and David Adams of Savannah, GA. A memorial service for her and her husband will be arranged by the family at a later date.
