Rebecca Barnes Porter, 66, entered into rest at her residence on October 20, 2022 surrounded by her family.
Rebecca was born August 19, 1956 in Augusta, Georgia to the late Lewis & Irene Irick Barnes.
She was a traveling nurse and a member of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
Survivors include her son Michael A. McBeath, Sr., (Angela); daughters Katie Newsome (Jayson); Harley McElroy (Daniel); brothers Lewis Barnes, Jr, (Marilyn); Russell Barnes (Trina); Richard Barnes; sister Lucy Fanning; fourteen grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at 11:00 am at McNeill Funeral Home with Father Richard Wilson officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening from 6:00-8:00 pm.
