Ramona Usry Johnston

Ramona Usry Johnston transitioned into her heavenly home on August 30, 2022. The memorial service will be held Saturday September 3, 2022 at 3 PM Bethel Baptist (150 Shewmake Street in Sardis, GA) with Pastor Matthew Shryock officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend served as a Director with Palmetto GBA for 33 years. Ramona’s pride, however, was her family and was happiest surrounded by her brood. She especially loved doting on her grandsons, Bryan “Bry” and David Johnston. In addition to her grandsons, Ramona is survived by her husband, Glenn Johnston; her son, Donald Johnston; and her two sisters, Gail Usry and Nancy (Earl) Godbee. She is further survived by many nieces and nephews. Memorial donations may be made to ProMedica Hospice, promedicahospice.org.
