Mr. Ralph H. Dunaway Sr. Mr. Ralph H. Dunaway Sr., of Astor Florida and formerly of Augusta, died on Sunday, December 6, 2009.He was 84 years old. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 9, 2009 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at The Poteet Funeral Home, 3465 Peach Orchard Road, Augusta.The funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, December 10, 2009 at 1:00 pm in the funeral home chapel.Committal services, with military honors, will follow in the family plot at Westover Memorial Park.Rev. Philip Vestal will officiate. Mr. Dunaway is survived by his wife, Sara Joseph Dunaway; his children, Anne Autsolief (David) of Martin, Georgia, Carolyn Cibak of Augusta, Patricia Dunaway Robinson of Columbia, South Carolina, Ralph H. Dunaway Jr. (Phyllis) of Augusta, Michael J. Dunaway of Ft. Worth, Texas, Elizabeth Nelson (Ronnie) of Fernandina Beach, Florida, David B. Dunaway (Cynthia) of Hendersonville, North Carolina, Katherine Williamson (Marc) of Augusta; twenty-one grandchildren; numerous great- grandchildren.Mr. Dunaway was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Mulherin Dunaway in 1989, five siblings, and his son in law, Murray P.
