Phyllis Miller Powell

Mrs. Phyllis Miller Powell, 74, entered into rest August 31, 2017. Loving wife of the late Thomas M. Powell. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at 11:00 am at Pineview Baptist Church with Dr. Michael Wren and Dr. Michael Davenport officiating. Private burial will be at Bellevue Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Powell was born in Atlanta, Georgia but spent most of her life in Augusta, Georgia where she was employed at Southern Eye Center and a member of Pineview Baptist Church since 1974 where she co taught Young Adults Sunday School Class. She loved her Piano and Gospel Music and her books. Survivors include her sons, Thomas M. Powell, Jr., (Debby), Mark Tim Powell (Alana), daughter, Cathie Rich, seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
