Philip William Buchanan

Philip William Buchanan, 75, entered into rest February 1,2022 in Greenwood, SC. Born on October 1,1946 in Waynesville, NC to the late Robert and Georgia Buchanan. He is survived by his special friend, Debbie Smrz, Darin (Marty) Buchanan; daughters, Misty Buchanan (Kenny) Reber; Courtney Jones (Chris) Parrish; step-daughter, Megan Smrz (Jack) Williams; step-son, Ryan Smrz; nine grandchildren, Heather Murrell, Ashley Williams, Grace Williams, Ansley Smrz, Lilly Parrish, Abby Parrish, grandsons, Dylan Buchanan, Nick Williams, William Smrz, three greatgrandchildren, Aden Morales, Lyon Murrell and Kellyn Williams. He is preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Connie Downs and Robbie Mashburn and one son, Patrick A. Buchanan. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 12,2022 at 4:00 pm at Philippi BaptistChurch 125 Steeple Road, Johnston, S.C. 29832, family will receive friends from 3:00-4:00 pm. Another service will be held at Allens Creek Baptist Church on Saturday, February 19,2022 a 3:00 pm, in Waynesville, N.C. with a visitation from 2:00-3:00 pm and burial to follow at Buchanan Cemetery
