Phil Rogers, Sr., age 70, of Hephzibah, passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2015, at the V.A. Hospital in Augusta, GA. He was born in Gough, GA., on September 11, 1944, to the late John Henry Rogers and Emily Blount Williams.He was preceded in death by his daughter, Stephanie Rogers Barnes.He served in the U.S. Army and retired from Castleberry Foods after 27 years of service as an electrician. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Mattie Bonner Rogers; his children; Phil Rogers, Jr. of Charleston, S.C. and Pamela (Cleante) Crockett of Madison, AL.; 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; brothers and sisters; Johnnie Mae Rucker of Ft. Lauderdale, FL., Annie Hoo of Grayson, GA., Beatrice Williams of Ft. Lauderdale, FL., Sarah Williams of Ft. Lauderdale, FL., Paulette Robison of Ft. Lauderdale, FL., Sonny Cook of New Jersey and Nathaniel Williams of Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
