Peter S. Seaborn

Peter S. Seaborn, 60, entered into rest at his home in Martinez, Georgia, on Wednesday, November 22, 2023. He was born in Maine to parents, Duane and Barbara Seaborn. Following his father's military career, the family settled in Evans, Georgia, where he graduated from Evans High School. He then served in the US Navy before returning to Georgia. Later he would receive a Bachelor of Arts degree from Southern New Hampshire University. For employment he worked at SRS, and then as owner of Buck's Pizza for several years and manager of several local food services in Columbia County and Augusta. A school athlete in his younger days, he was a strong supporter of the Atlanta Braves and, especially, the Georgia Bulldogs. Peter is survived by his daughter, Lauren Crawford (Ceaira) and grandson, Giaus Garcia, Cocoa, Florida, granddaughter, Adeline Seaborn, Orlando, Florida, mother, Barbara Seaborn, Martinez, father, Duane (Patricia) Seaborn, Martinez, and brother, Andrew (Laura) Seaborn, Hephzibah, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his son, Peter Seaborn, Jr. A Memorial Service will be held at Grace United Methodist Church, North, Augusta, South Carolina, on Saturday, December 16, at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the following organizations in his honor: ASPCA, University of Georgia Black Affairs Council, or Grace Church.
