Pedro Juan Ortiz

Pedro Juan Ortiz passed away on the early morning of July 17, 2024 at the age of 62 surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor his legacy by living their lives to the fullest. He was known as one of the best roofers in Augusta, GA. The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Pedro. He loved family gatherings, a good cold beer and his Puerto Rican food. His pleasant personality was contagious to everyone he met, no one was stranger to him. His smile brought happiness to everyone he met on the way. He lived a courageous life till the end. Pedro is survived by his 87 year-old mother Adelaida Mateo, Angel L. Ortiz and Jose M. Colon, his brothers, and Xiomari Castro, a sister. His children Christina Ortiz and Pedro Juan Ortiz Jr., his six grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and friends. His remains will be cremated.
