Paul Merhoff

In Loving Memory of Paul Merhoff August 12, 1956 – December 29, 2024 Paul Christopher Merhoff passed away peacefully on December 29, 2024. He was loved by many, including his sons, Aaron Merhoff and Justin Merhoff; his daughter-in-law, Callie Sue Merhoff; his four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; longtime family friend Lucia Barbera, aka his "Dot" and his dog, Finn. Paul leaves behind an extended, loving family, including: Two brothers: Eric Merhoff and Karl Merhoff, and his sister, Mary Ann Kellar Nieces: Tori and Stephanie, and nephews: Kevin, Sam, and KJ Grandchildren: Breanna, Brandon, Bradley, and Alexis He was preceded in death by his father, Dr. Hugh R. Merhoff, and his mother, Mary Lou Merhoff, of Red Bluff, California. Paul was born in San Francisco, California. When he was a child, the family moved to Red Bluff, California, where his father was a doctor. Paul proudly served in the United States Air Force. After his service, he earned a communications degree from California State University, Chico. For most of his life, Paul lived in Northern California. In 2022, he moved to Augusta, Georgia, to be closer to his adult sons. Paul was known for his kindness and wit. His hobbies included enjoying craft beer, stargazing, listening to classic blues and rock, and spending time with his dog, Finn
