Patricia Mccalister Sneeder

Patricia McCalister Sneeder, age 64, of Evans passed away January 25 ^th in her home surrounded by family. Born in York, SC to Melvin and Emily McCalister, she grew up a “Carolina Girl”.

After graduating from York Comprehensive High School, she attended the University of South Carolina where she was a majorette, and then went on to graduate from Winthrop University in 1981.

Tricia worked for the Columbia County school system for over 15 years and retired in 2018. She spent her time traveling, being with her grandchildren, and loved the beach.

She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Robert Sneeder, children Emily Lewis (Trent), Josh Sneeder (Lindsey), siblings Linda, Steve, and Carolyn McCalister, and 3 grandchildren ( Amelia, Charlie and Jack).

The family will receive friends at Wesley United Methodist Church in Evans on Saturday, February 4 ^th at 3p.m. with a Celebration of Life to follow at 4p.m.
