Augusta, GA. Patricia Ann Self, age 71, of Augusta, passed away Saturday, July 4, 2015, at her residence. She was born January 31, 1944, in Guyton, GA., to the late Irving and Ernestine Crapps Edwards.Her hobbies included arts and crafts and gardening.She will always be remembered by her family as being gentle and loving. She is survived by her children; Debra (David) Smith, Jeff Self and John Paul Self; brother, Wayne (Paulette) Edwards, grandchildren, Gary (Courtney) Smith, Stephen (Lexie) Smith, Heather Self, Brandon Self and Justin Meadows; great grandchild, Garrett Smith. Family will receive friends Tuesday (TODAY) 6 pm to 8 pm at THE POTEET FUNERAL HOME, 3465 Peach Orchard Rd., HWY 25, Augusta, 30906. Funeral Services will be Wednesday 12 Noon at Guyton Christian Church, 301 Pine St., Guyton, GA., 31312, with visitation one hour prior at the church.Burial to follow in Guyton Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Gary Smith, Stephen Smith, Timmy Edwards and David Smith.
