Patricia Kay Glenville

Patricia Kay Glenville, 56, of Augusta, Georgia passed away at Augusta University Hospital on November 17, 2021 after a brief but aggressive battle with cancer. Patricia was born on January 26, 1965 in Mystic, CT and was the fourth child of seven in the Glenville family. Patricia called many places home before making Augusta her final home including Berwick, PA, LaSalle, MI, Phoenix, AZ, Indialantic, FL among others. Patricia held many positions during her life and her favorite part of each job was the joy she could deliver to others. Patricia was a great fan of sports, lover of music, and a master at appreciating and delivering all sorts of humor. Her specialty was sarcasm. For Patricia, her friends and family always came first and she loved them all completely and unconditionally. Patricia joins her mother, Carol Sawicki Glenville, and maternal grandparents Stanley and Stella Sawicki who predeceased her. She is survived by her adored son Matthew Shoemaker and his wife Kayla, her father Kenneth P. Glenville, Sr. (wife Sherry) and her 6 siblings and their families: Brian (brother) & Tammy Glenville, children Michael and Shannon Kathi (sister) & Doug Mills, children Haley (Thrower) and Cory and their children Mark Glenville (brother) and his children with Dianne, Sean Patrick and Ryan. Kenneth (brother) & Karen Glenville, children Kyla and Ella Sean Glenville (brother) Erin Quattlebaum (sister) and her children with Bill, Guy and Luke Quattlebaum A funeral mass for Patricia will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 4th at St. Mary’s on the Hill Catholic Church, 1420 Monte Sano Ave, Augusta, GA. The family will gather at 10:30 in the church chapel preceeding the mass to pray the Rosary on Patricia’s behalf. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made in Patricia Glenville’s name to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
