Pamela Jones Toole

Pam passed away in the presence of her family on July 7, 2024 at Piedmont Hospital. Pam was born in Alabama and raised in Waltham, Massachusetts. Her Northern roots manifested through her loyalty to Dunkin Donuts- the only stop for coffee and donuts. She is preceded in death by her mother Clara Jones, her sister Tina Jones and her nephews Chip Hallman and Erik Drylie. She leaves behind her husband of 37 years Tom, her son Tommy, her beloved grandchildren Hailey, Forest, Lillian and Zoe Hallman, her sister Teresa Kezer and her nieces Michelle Hyden (Andrew), Melinda Drylie and Brittney Kezer, and her great-niece Dixie Drylie and great-nephew Michael Drylie. While she had one son, her life was full of love for children. Pam served meals to children at Windsor Spring Elementary as well as her many years of service to the local YMCA through Prime time before and after school care. She was a mom to the entire Sea Cadets and the Butler football team. While she loved being mom to Tommy and his friends, her favorite role was Nana. ‘Coffee and talk’ was a cherished time to catch up with her grandchildren. Pam enjoyed volunteering with her family at the Augusta Southern National Boat Races. She enjoyed any time out in the sun. Her family will remember her whenever they wear white shoes- the only acceptable shoes to Pam. Her family will miss the constant “Roll Tide” in a family of UGA fans. Pam’s life revolved around her family. While her family misses her physical presence, she will always remain in their hearts.
