Pamela Jewel Cheatwood

Pamela Jewel Cheatwood, 59, of Augusta entered into rest on Monday, May 7, 2018 at Augusta University Medical Center. Funeral services will be at 11:00 am on Friday, May 11, 2018 in the chapel of The Poteet Funeral Home with Pastor Ronnie Faircloth officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Born in Waukegan, Illinois to Eloise and Eaves Munns, she moved to the Augusta area as a small child and has called this her home most all of her life. She is predeceased by both her parents and her sister, Deborah Shaw. Survivors include her husband, Samuel Cheatwood of Hephzibah; daughters, Amanda Morris of Augusta and Lauren Nasworthy of Hephzibah; a brother, Gerold Munns; 3 grandchildren, Dennis E. Morris, III, Christian Shelby, and Samantha Carter. The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 10, 2018 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at The Poteet Funeral Home.
