Oscar Ralph Smallwood

Oscar Ralph Smallwood, 97, entered into rest December 23, 2019. Oscar born on October 12, 1922 in Gibson, Georgia was the son of the late Oscar and Annie Raley Smallwood. He was a retired farmer and Builder, he served in the US Army and a member of Mt. Zion Congregational Methodist Church in Mitchell, Georgia. Survivors include his sisters, Rebecca Smallwood; Margaret Thompson; nieces, Dianne Waters; Cindy Kamaka; Judy Smallwood; nephews, Tim Shelton and Larry Thompson. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Branson Smallwood; sister, Miriam Shelton. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 26, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Mt. Zion Congregational Methodist Church with Reverend Don Widner officiating. In lieu of flowers please make memorial to Mt. Zion Congregational Methodist Church 7519 Edgehill-Mitchell Road, Mitchell, Georgia 30802.
