Olga Illyn, 85, entered into eternal rest at her home in Augusta, Georgia on August 9, 2018. She was the devoted wife of the late Alexis Vladimir Illyn, who died in a tragic accident 38 years ago. She is survived by her four children – Kathryn Moore and her husband Dane; Peter Illyn and his wife Debbie; Elizabeth Yount, widow of Jim; and Amy Holliday and her husband Ken McLaughlin. She is survived by her remaining sister, Natalie Kaempffer and her husband Bill, along with nine grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was a lifelong member of the Russian Orthodox Church Abroad. Local visitation will not be scheduled in Augusta. The family will hold a private Orthodox service followed by her burial next to her beloved husband. The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to Trinity Hospice, and her private duty nurses who took excellent care of their mother.
