Ok Cha Poulson, age 83, passed away peacefully on January 9, 2025 in Augusta, GA with her loving daughter by her side. Ok Cha was born in Wando, South Korea on November 24, 1941 but lived most of her adult life in Augusta. She is survived by her husband, William “Bill” Poulson, her daughter, Julie Boyer (Matt) of Greensboro, NC and two beloved granddaughters. Ok Cha was an incredibly smart and resourceful lady who learned English, taught herself to drive, and became an American citizen. Her work was so important to her and she retired from Thomson Company in the 1990’s where she worked for more than 20 years and was often honored as a standout employee. She went on to open her own business, Mrs. P’s Alterations, where she faithfully worked 6 days a week for more than 30 years until she became ill last summer. She loved her customers and thought of them as her friends. In her free time, she loved gardening, cooking, and watching golf. At her request, there will be no memorial services.
