Blythe, GA. Myrtle Louise Chancey, age 79, of Blythe, passed away Monday, December 21, 2015 at her residence. She was born August 15, 1936, to the late William and Helen Buck Goodson.She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Jackson Chancey, Jr.She was a member of Blythe Baptist Church. She is survived by 1 daughter, June (Don) Prescott of Hephzibah;1 son, Jay (Sandra) Chancey of Augusta; 2 sisters, Mary Ann Taylor of Augusta and Barbara Ann Barlow of Matthews, GA; 1 brother, Billy Goodson of Avery, GA;grandchildren, Michael P. Chancey, Luke Chancey, Jesse Chancey, Jamie Chancey, Marc Hyman II, Zachary Hyman and Cotton Myrick; 12 great grandchildren and a lifelong dear and faithful friend, Brother Harley Bowser. Family will receive friends Thursday 10 am to 11 am at Blythe Baptist Church, 2010 County Line Rd., Blythe, 30805, 706.592.6426, with services to follow at 11 am, with Rev. John Bartlett, officiating.Burial will be in the church cemetery.Please deliver all flowers directly to the church.
