Morris L. Weaver

Morris Weaver, 91, of Evans, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 27, 2017. He will be greatly missed. Services in celebration of Morris’s life will be held Friday, December 1st at 1:00 p.m., McNeil Funeral Home, with Chaplain Ellis Moore officiating. Morris was born September 5, 1926 in Allen County, KY., son of the late Lois and Lester Weaver. Morris served in the US Navy as Seaman 1st Class during WWII and was a lifetime member of the Masons. After a 40 plus year career managing multiple plants he retired as a VP of Modern Welding. He was a former stock car driver and an avid hunter and outdoorsman. Morris is survived by his wife Mary Ralston Weaver, 2 children, Tony Weaver (Carol) and Jill Weaver (Walter Greer) and 2 grandchildren. One step-daughter, Susan Fitzgerald, 2 step grandchildren, and 2 step great grandchildren. He was predeceased by 3 brothers, Charles, Robert and Carlene; his step son, Charles Hugh King and 1 step grandson.
