Biography Mrs. Minnie Lee Cantey Homemaker Augusta, Ga. entered into rest October 1, 2011 in Augusta, Ga.Mrs. Minnie Lee Weakley Cantey wife of the Late Mr. Samuel E. Cantey, Sr. Mrs. Cantey a native of Cairo, Ga. lived in Anniston, Alabama and then made Augusta her home for the past 64 years. She was a member of Lake Park Baptist Church and a homemaker. She is survived by one son, Samuel E. Cantey, Jr. (Peggy), daughter, Mary Ross, SanAntonio, TX, two brothers, Pete Weakley, GA, Buddy Weakley,Fl.Nine grandchildren, Michelle Points, Lisa Capaldo, Lori Varner, Brian Taylor, Becky Widener, Courtney Hammonds, Alicia George, Chris and Pat Cantey. Nine great grandchildren. Preceding her in death, her daughter Donna Poston and her son Robert Cantey. Memorial services were held on Wednesday October 5, 2011 at 11:00 am at Lake Park Baptist Church Rev. Bob Gosey officiating. Burial was at Westview Cemetery.
