Mildred Elizabeth Bright

Mrs. Mildred E. Bright Martinez, Ga., Mildred Elizabeth Bright, 91, our beloved mother, went to be with our Lord on December 4, 2016. Mrs. Bright was the wife of the late Howard Bright. She was born in Columbus, Georgia to Alvis and Susie Anthony. She is greatly missed by her daughters Renee Miller (Pat), Cassie Jackson (Chuck), Denise Howard (Ricky, deceased) and Shelley Leclair (Eddie); ten grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Her artwork is her legacy that will live on for generations. She was a devoted wife and mother, and a generous Christian. A grave side service will be held Saturday December 10, 2016 at 1:00 pm at South Harlem Memorial Cemetery in Harlem, Georgia, Reverend Hal Hodgens officiating. Pastor Tim Burden will officiate a memorial service at Eau Claire Presbyterian Church in Columbia, SC at 4:00 pm on Sunday, December 11, 2016. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Eau Claire Presbyterian Church, 629 Wildwood Ave., Columbia, SC. 29203 The family wishes to thank the many caregivers who helped with her care over the years.
