Michael Alonzo Maxie

Maxie, Michael Alonzo, 9/27/1986 – 11/2/2022 Augusta, GA passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family after a brief illness. He was 36 years old. Michael was born September 27, 1986, in Ft. Campbell, KY to Bennie and Ann (Nieman) Maxie. He was rambunctious and outgoing and had a huge heart. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by one sister, Courtney (Johnuel) Covin, his nephew, Cameron Maxie both of Augusta, and Grandmother, Diana Fox, Saginaw, MI; as well as several uncles, aunt, cousins and friends. Michael was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lonzo and Emma Maxie and Michael Fox. His wishes were to be cremated; a Celebration of Life will be set at a later date at his residence. Michael will be returned to Michigan for private family memorial and internment. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to donate to a charity of their choice.
