Michael Eugene Lands

Mr. Michael E. Lands, 66, of Grovetown, Georgia entered into rest May 16th. 2017 at his residence after a 2 ½ year courageous battle with cancer. Loving husband of 41years to Beverly B. Lands. Mr. Lands a native of Charlotte, NC, has lived in the area since 1975 and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. A Machinist for Kennametal for 25 years and Covidien Medical Supplies. Member of Journey Community Church. Additional survivors include his mother, Alease S. Lands; sons, Michael Eugene Lands, Jr., Peter Edward Lands (Dana); Paul Steven Lands (Jessica); daughters, Mary Nicole Schlagenhauser; Gini Sellers; Karen Kincaid and Susan Kevas; brother, William ‘Bill” Lands; sisters, Colleen Lands Banton and Carol Marie Lands. Several grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father, Edward Joey Lands. A memorial service will be conducted on Thursday, May 25th. 2017 at 1:00 pm at Journey Community Church with Pastor Bobby Smith officiating.
