Michael a native of Augusta was a self-employed contractor. He was a dedicated husband, father and son who loved spending time with his children and going fishing. Memorial service will be conducted Thursday at 3:00 pm at McNeill Funeral Home Rev. David Brooks officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until time of service. He is survived by his wife Crystal Gail Abernathy Hanson, two sons, Brandon Hanson and Phillip Hanson, daughter, Megan Hanson his mother, Angela Hanson. His mother in law, Gail Abernathy.
