Michael William Fountain

Michael William Fountain, age 51, of Hunters’ Run Apartments, passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2016. Mike was the son of the late Betty G. Fountain, and the late William C. Fountain. He is survived by a sister, Lisa G. Brown of Lincolnton, and her husband Richard Brown, nephew Brad Schwartz and niece Amanda Gunn. Also uncles and aunts Norman and Jo Pulliam, Ronnie and Janice Pulliam, and Joe and Lucy Pulliam, and longtime friend Tommy Miles. Mike was baptized at Warren Baptist Church and lived in Augusta since early childhood. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, July 19, at 11:00, at Westover Memorial Park and friends and family are welcome to attend. McNeill Funeral Home is handling the arrangements and the Reverend Paul Revere will be officiating the service.
