Michael Bruce Crouch Painter Hephzibah, Ga. Mr. Michael Bruce Crouch, 63, lost his battle with cancer on Monday, September 3rd. and has gone to be with the Lord. Michael was born in Augusta, graduated from the Academy of Richmond County and attended Augusta College. He spent most of his adult life in Atlanta where he was the owner of Crouch Painting Company. He took great pride in his work to make sure his customers were completely satisfied. Michael loved animals, especially cats and rescued many while working with the animal rescuers in Atlanta. He also loved music, played the guitar and was led singer of the band, "Nobody's Children".He was an avid Martial Artist throughout his life, a practioner of various styles of Karate and Kung Fu and later of Tai Chi meditation. He enjoyed reading and philosophizing about many things and considered himself a rebel in the 1960's and 70's. Mr. Crouch was preceded in death by his parents Stanford L. Crouch and Hazel M. Crouch, a nephew Russell M. Crouch and several aunts and uncles. He is lovingly remembered by his family: brothers Stanley S. Crouch (wife Gloria) and Mickey M. Crouch (wife Lib) Augusta, Ga.; a nephew Stan Crouch (wife Donna) Hephzibah, Ga.; two nieces, Donna Willis and Julie Hoskins, Watkinsville, GA; an aunt, Evelyn Burrum, Augusta, GA; Four grand nephews, Ryan Crouch, Zachary Hoskins, Cory Willis and Austin Willis (wife Aubrey); Two grand nieces, April Raley (husband Matthew), Chelsey Hoskins; Two great nieces, Tatum Willis and McKinzey Raley; One great nephew, Rowan Willis A Memorial services will be conducted on Monday, September 10th. , 6:00-8:00 pm at McNeill Funeral Home.
