Mr. Michael Paul Acord Martinez, GA. Mr. Michael Acord entered into rest on Wednesday April 1st, 2015. Mr. Acord was born in Berlin, Germany, but spent most of his life in Augusta, GA. He was a proud veteran the United States Army and was also a Mason and a member of the Augusta Shrine Club at Alee Temple. Mr. Acord worked as a mill-rite for Austin Industries for twenty and a half years. A memorial serviced will be held at McNeill Funeral Home on Monday April 6th at 6:30 p.m. with Chaplain Bobbie Inglett officiating. He is survived by his daughters, Shannon and Whitney Acord and step daughter Ashley Newsome; his father, Dallas Acord (Connie) and mother, Marlies Wilkie-Brown; brothers, Brian Acord, Vincent and Glenn Brown, and Ashley Cooper; sisters, Manulea Brown and Traci James; and grandchild, Aubrey Acord.
