Mrs. Melanie Rapp Kuehl of Hephzibah McBean Road died on Tuesday, May 26, 2009 at her home.She was 40 Years old. The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 28, 2009 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at The Poteet Funeral Home, 3465 Peach Orchard Road, Augusta.The graveside service will be conducted on Friday, May 29, 2009 at 10:00 am at Bellevue Memorial Gardens.Rev. Darien Spivey will officiate. Survivors include her husband of nine years, Stephen Kuehl; her mother, Dona Rapp; her daughter, Myranda Hope Kuehl; her son, Mackenzie Wade Kuehl; her twin sister, Bethanne Zimmerman and her husband, Barry, of Colorado; her sister, Pam Stewart and her husband, Chris; her maternal grandmother, Alfreda B. Hillman; her paternal grandmother, Gertrude Rapp; her mother-in-law, Mary K. Kuehl; her nieces and nephews, Matthew Luetjen, Jessica Luetjen, Ethan Stewart, Fox Zimmerman, and Skyler Zimmerman; her brothers-in-law and their families, Lonnie Lee Kuehl Jr. and his wife, Kay, and their children, Preston Kuehl, Tylor Kuehl; Brian Keith Kuehl and his wife, Cindy, and their children, Matthew Kuehl and Austin Kuehl.She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Joseph Rapp. Melanie was a member of Miracle Baptist Church in Hephzibah. Pallbearers are John Bartlett, Doug Lively, Phil Jarnigan, Stan Clifton, Stewart Kitchens, and Bob Hand.
