Mary Alice Sharpe Quintin

Augusta, GA Mary Alice Sharpe Quintin, age 67, of Augusta, passed away Sunday, August 18, 2013, after her 3 year courageous fight with cancer. She was preceded in death by her parents, M.C. and Vera C. Hall Sharpe, Sr.; 2 brothers, Milledge C. Sharpe, Jr. and Thomas Sharpe. She was an Avon Sales Representative for many years.She was a great wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Regis; 2 daughters, Shannon (Jamie) Jones of Augusta, GA., and Renee (Brad) Jenkins of Augusta, GA.; 5 grandchildren, Brittany, Summer and Sydney Jones and Garrett and Cole Jenkins;2 sisters, Bobbie Jean Macky of Augusta, GA., Joanne Swan of Waynesboro, GA.; 1 brother, Donny Sharpe of Shell Bluff, GA.She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Wednesday 7 pm to 9 pm at THE POTEET FUNERAL HOME, 3465 Peach Orchard Rd., HYW 25, Augusta, 30906, 706.798.8886. Funeral Services will be Thursday 11 am at Hephzibah Baptist Church, HWY 88, with Brother Bobby Winkler and Pastor Danny McGill, officiating. Pallbearers will be Alex Swan, Chad Bennett, Buddy May, Herbie Dorsey, Justin Sharpe and Kevin Scarff. Burial to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
