Mary Ann Pearre

Augusta, GA. Mary Ann Pearre, age 91, passed away Thursday, September 24, 2015, at Westwood Nursing Facility. She was born November 28, 1923 to the late Otis Washington and Annie Elizabeth Turner Byrd.She was preceded in death by her husband, James M. Pearre and a son, Earl James Pearre. Prior to her retirement, she worked at King Mill and Vaucluse Mill.She was a Foster Grandparent at Gracewood State School and Hospital. She is survived by a daughter, Lenora (Foster) Key of Trenton, S. C..; a grandson, Dennis W. Ellis, Jr. of Augusta; sister-in-law, Cecelia Pearre of McBean; 1 brother, Wesley Byrd of Sandersville; 1 granddaughter, Rosemary (Trey) Anderson and 1 great granddaughter, Ranee’ Pearre. Graveside services will be Tuesday 11 am at Hillcrest Memorial Park with Pastor John Bartlett, officiating.Everyone is asked to meet at the cemetery for services.
