Martha Ann Arrington

Martha Arrington Mrs. Martha Ann McKinley Arrington, born on September 23, 1934, to the late Annie McKinley and the late Lewis McKinley, passed away at age 83 on August 9, 2018 in Gadsden, Alabama.She graduated from Augusta College in 1982 as a Registered Nurse. Martha was the loving wife of the late Breedlove Arrington.She had a passion for caring for her family and was known for her love and kindness toward others.Martha is survived by her son David Arrington and his wife Donna; daughter, Terri Arrington; brother, Alton McKinley; sister, Irene Grimes; grandchildren, Matthew Nattinger and Jonathan Vick; and several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her devoted dogs, Echo and Honey. The family invites donations in Martha’s name to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America.Friends and family can pay their respects at the celebration of life service, officiated by Martha’s brother-in-law Dr. French Arrington and nephew the Reverend Lee Arrington, on Friday, August 17, from 2:00 to 3:00 p. m. at Poteet Funeral Home, 3465 Peach Orchard Road, Augusta, Georgia, 30906.
