Marilyn "Dolly" Sayre

Marilyn “Dolly” Sayre, 86, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother went to her peaceful, heavenly home on April 22, 2023. Dolly was born in Detroit, Michigan to the late Peter and Veronica Budwick. Dolly worked for many years as a bookkeeper with Plunger Heating and Air. Dolly’s greatest joy was spending time with her family. Dolly is survived by her two grandchildren: Devin James Price (Colleen) and Ashley Amerson Sapp (Zachary); three great-grandchildren whom she cherished, Corbyn Amerson, Skylar Price and SJ Gonzales; two brothers, Pete Budwick (Anita) and George Budwick (Jo), and numerous nieces and nephews. Dolly is preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, James “Jim” Elmus Sayre and their two children, James Allen Sayre and Linda Sayre Price. A private memorial service will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, April 29th, 2023 at Bellevue Memorial Gardens in Grovetown with Pastor Matt Betosky officiating.
