Margo Ingram

Margo P. Ingram of Augusta entered into rest on Monday, May 10, 2010.She was 78 years old. The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 13, 2010 from 6:00 until 7:00 pm at The Poteet Funeral Home, 3465 Peach Orchard Road.The funeral service will follow on Thursday at 7:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. Surviving family members include her son, Thomas Ingram; her grandchildren, Paige Ingram, Rachel Ingram, and Ashleigh Young Hammond; her great- granddaughter, Kendyl Young; her daughter, Renee James and her husband, Todd. Ms. Ingram was born in Stuttgart, Germany.She was the daughter of the late Karl and Sofie Grass.She immigrated to the United States and became a citizen in 1959.She moved to Augusta in 1967.In 1974, she entered the real estate business and for the past 20 years had owned 1st Realty Group.Ms. Ingram was a member of the Augusta Board of Realtors, the Women’s Council of Realtors, and the Lions Club.She served as an officer in these organizations and was engaged in many of their civic projects.
