Augusta, GA Margarett Hartness Johnson, passed away Tuesday, August 14, 2012, at the age of 80.Margarett was a very active member of Fleming Baptist Church.She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Ollie (Carrol) McKinney; her first husband, Harley Francis Hartness; her beloved husband Robert Franklin Johnson; her sons, Harley Fred Hartness and Robert Lewis Hartness; her brothers, Aaron Guinn, Lewis Guinn and Ralph Guinn.She is survived by 1 son, David D. Johnson, Sr., of Augusta, GA.; 1 daughter, Sandra M. Collins of Sardis, GA.; grandchildren, Terri, James, Donald, Andy, Meryl, Shane, Melanie, Zachary and Chasity;2 sisters, Clara Sue Tipton of Dalton, GA., and Lorazetta Hefner of Cohutta, GA., and a very special niece, Angie Staten of Dalton, GA., and a very special friend, Vivian Phillips.Visitation will be Thursday (TODAY) from 6 pm to 9 pm at The Poteet Funeral Home, 3465 Peach Orchard Rd., Augusta, GA., 30906, 706.798.8886.Services will be Friday at 1 pm at the funeral home with Rev.
