Ms. Margaret Dudley, of Hephzibah, died on Monday, May 30, 2011.She was 87 years old. The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 2, 2011, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at The Poteet Funeral Home, 3465 Peach Orchard Road, Augusta.The funeral service will be conducted on Friday, June 3, at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.Committal services will follow in the family plot at Liberty United Methodist Church in Hephzibah.Rev. Jim Hyder will officiate.Pallbearers are Danny Street, Jay Street, Tony Street, Rex Bell, Theron Lane, Ryan Street, and Aubrey Street. Ms. Dudley is survived by her son, Gary Holland, of Hephzibah; her granddaughter, Shauna Crowe; her great-grandson, Daniel Crow; her sisters, Jewel Johnson and Norma Coxon; her brother, Delray Herrington; several nieces and nephews. Ms. Dudley was a member of Liberty United Methodist Church.She was a retired hotel auditor.
