Marcia Ann Randolph, 71, entered peacefully into rest Sunday, May 5, 2024 after an extended illness. She was a native of Millen, Georgia, but was a resident of Burke County for over fifty years. Her childhood nickname, Dinky, due to her small stature, had no influence on her personality. She was strong-willed and a force to be reckoned with. She was a wonderful mother, expecting the best of her children, providing guidance, advice, and always had an ear to listen. She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and enjoyed each visit. She always kept a stash of candy or treats when the little ones visited. She had a soft spot for animals, raising numerous dogs and cats, and even a squirrel. She was an avid bird watcher and provided many bird houses and feeders around her home. She retired from Fluor Power as a document control specialist and was of Baptist faith. Marcia was predeceased by her husband, Richard L. Randolph, her mother, Martha S. Dickey, and her father, Roy D. Wright. She is survived by her children, Trevis Boone (Wanda) of Hephzibah, Brooke Randolph of Hephzibah, Leeann Davis of Keysville, Becky Raney (Todd) of Gautier, MS, and Hayes Randolph (Anber) of Hephzibah; 16 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; her brother, Danney Wright of Waynesboro whom assisted with her care in her last weeks. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Burke Health in Waynesboro, Georgia for providing such excellent care and compassionate treatment of our mother. A memorial service will be held at a later date for family and friends. Contributions in memory can be made to Springwood Veterinary Clinic, 3145 Old Waynesboro Rd., Hephzibah, Georgia 30815.
