Marceau S. Quick, age 53, of Hephzibah, GA., passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2013, at her residence with her family surrounding her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Martha Louise Simmons Singletary and 2 brothers, Don McElveen and Jerry McElveen. She is survived by her husband of 33 years, John; 2 daughters, Shanna Quick and Amanda Quick, both of Augusta, GA., 7 grandchildren, Kaylee, Hannah, Matthew, Chance, Brianna, Isiah and Street; 1 sister, Dianna Norvell of Hendersonville, N.C. and 1 brother, Larry McElveen of Maryland. Family will receive friends Monday 6 pm to 8 pm at The Poteet Funeral Home, 3465 Peach Orchard Road, HWY 25, 30906, 706.798.8886. Funeral Services will be Tuesday 11 am at the funeral home.Burial to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
