Lynda Wallace Paxton

Lynda Wallace Paxton entered into rest at her residence on July 6, 2022 after a long battle with dementia. She was born in Sylvania, Georgia. She attended Georgia Southern University. She was a retired professional realtor and mortgage banker. She is proceeded in death by her parents Lemuel “Johnny” Harrison and Frances Brinson Young; brother, Lemuel “Don” Harrison; and son, Brendon Wallace. She is survived by her loving husband, John S. Paxton, and brother, Johnny Darrell Young. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 12th, at 11:00 AM at Sweetwater Baptist Church in North Augusta, S. C. in the chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts be made to the Alzheimer’s Association (alz.org) or the Sweetwater Baptist Church Building Fund at 198 Sweetwater Road, North Augusta, S. C. 29860.
