Luther D. Funderburg

Luther D. Funderburg 75 years old passed away December 25 ^th at Piedmont Hospital in Augusta GA.

Luther or, LD which everyone know him by, was born November 11 ^th 1947 to Luther D. Funderburg, Sr. and his wife Amanda James Funderburg. LD was married in May 22 ^nd 1973 to Betty Jo Taylor.

LD was a mechanic by trade where he worked for Duke Buick in Augusta. LD is survived by his wife of 49 years Betty Funderburg, his step daughter Elizabeth Diperna, his grandchildren Chris Burkhart, Dwayne Huff, Aimee Burkhart, Jeremy Huff, Joshua Huff along with his great grandchildren, Brandon, Samantha, Hayden, Eva, Jordon, Colin, Kaden, Kaleb, Tyler, Addison, Laynie, Aiden, Brennan, and Cameron.  LD was preceded in death by his Stepdaughter Debbie Burkhart and grandson Steven Burkhart.

A memorial service will be held Friday January 6 ^th at McNeil Funeral Home at 2:30 pm.
