Louis W. House, Sr.

Maj. Louis W. House Sr. November 15, 2022 Maj. Louis W. House Sr., age 84, was called home by God on November 13, 2022. Louis was born in Birmingham, Alabama, on October 15, 1938, to the late Louis Benjamin House and Pearl House. He graduated from the University of Nebraska with a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice and later obtained another degree in Paralegal Services. Louis was a retired Army Military Police officer serving our country for almost 21 years. He always had a heart of an entrepreneur and successfully ran a ceramic business, fence business, and general contracting business for many years after his army retirement. He instilled a passion for entrepreneurship in his children and grandchildren. Several are entrepreneurs today. Louis was a dedicated husband and loving father. Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Claire House, son Gerald House (Cookie), two daughters Elizabeth Janes and Sharon Hartman, 11 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. His oldest son, Louis William House Jr preceded him in death. We will hold a celebration of life service at Belview Memorial Gardens Chapel 4501 Wrightsboro Road Grovetown GA 30813 on Saturday, November 19, 2022, at 2 pm.
