Louis Michael Dipofi

Mr. Louis Dipofi Mr. Louis Dipofi of Augusta, loving husband of Isolde Dipofi, died on Sunday, January 13, 2010.He was 76 years old. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 16, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at The Poteet Funeral Home, 3465 Peach Orchard Road, Augusta.The funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, June 17, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.Committal services will follow at Bellevue Memorial Gardens with full military honors. Mr. Dipofi is survived by his wife of more than fifty years, Isolde Dipofi; his children, Peggy Mulehans and her husband Triny of Myrtle Beach, SC, Harold Dipofi and his wife Karen of Pennsylvania, Mary Helen Bush of Easley, SC, Louis Dipofi of Augusta; his sister, Antoinette Sleasmen of Arizona; his brothers, Pauli Dipofi of Alabama, Johnny Dipofi of Waterviolet, New York; and nine grandchildren. Mr. Dipofi attended the Good Shepherd Chapel.He was retired from the United States Army as a Master Sergeant, having served two tours in Vietnam and Korea. After his military retirement, he worked in civil service at Ft. Gordon. Mr. Dipofi loved his cats.
