It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Linda Juanita Moore, who departed this life on October 14, 2024, at the age of 58. Born on January 6, 1966, Linda was a radiant soul whose love and compassion enriched the lives of everyone she encountered. Linda was the beloved daughter of Anita Skillman Rearick and Raymond Moore. She leaves behind her Aunt Jean Martin Prater, her devoted sister, Wanda Williams, her brother, Donnie Skillman,(Verna) and sister Rene` Jobo (Bryan). Her family was her greatest treasure, and she cherished the bonds with her many nieces and nephews: John Williams Jr. (Paris), Donnie Skillman Jr., Jeffery and Hunter Powell, Anita Williams (Sean), Sarah Williams, Baylee Skillman Turner, and Madison Powell and Maddie Jobo. As a proud great-aunt, she found immense joy in the lives of Jonas Keith Cameron Williams, Malachi Egan,Waylon Skillman, Lydia Lucas, and Ella Williams, always ready to celebrate their milestones with unwavering love and encouragement. Linda's life was marked by the deep grief of loss; she was preceded in death by her cherished parents, her grandparents Marcella and Wadious Wallace, her beloved aunt Gloria Porter, and brothers Eugene and Don. She also mourned the passing of her brother-in-law John Williams Sr. and her first cousin Tommy Porter. These losses shaped Linda’s heart, instilling in her an even deeper compassion for others. For over 40 years, Linda was a devoted member of Lumpkin Road Baptist Church, where she found not only spiritual fulfillment but a sense of belonging and community. She forged enduring friendships, particularly with Mr. and Mrs. Hinderson, who generously provided rides to church, embodying the spirit of fellowship that Linda so deeply valued. Her faith was an unwavering foundation in her life, and she was always available to pray for others, demonstrating her profound commitment to serving her community with love and grace. A two-time stage 4 breast cancer survivor, Linda's journey was one of remarkable strength and resilience. She faced each challenge with courage, embracing life’s joys and sorrows with equal fervor. Her spirit was indomitable, inspiring all who knew her to approach their own struggles with the same tenacity and hope. Linda's kindness and gentle nature made her a beloved figure in her community. She had an extraordinary gift for seeing the good in everyone, and her compassionate heart extended to all. Known for her vibrant love of the color pink, Linda infused her surroundings with warmth and positivity, leaving a lasting impression on those she met. As we gather to honor Linda’s remarkable life, we celebrate the legacy she leaves behind—a legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering faith. Her spirit will continue to guide us, reminding us of the importance of compassion, the strength of community, and the beauty of cherishing every moment.
