Linda Greene

Mrs. Linda Greene, of Augusta, died on Wednesday, April 25, 2012, at her residence.She was 67 years old. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 26, 2012 at The Poteet Funeral Home, 3465 Peach Orchard Road, Augusta.The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 27, 2012 in the funeral home chapel. The committal services will follow at Jackson Memorial Cemetery, Jackson, South Carolina. Rev. Billy Atkins will officiate. Mrs. Greene is survived by her husband, Jimmy Greene; her daughter, Cindy Estes; her sisters, Dorothy Bradford and Jeri Jernigan; her brother, Wally Taylor; and three grandchildren. Mrs. Greene is the daughter of the late Rufus Taylor and Frances Bailey Taylor. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Jackson, South Carolina.
